NBA Players Don't Like Space Jam

Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Twenty NBA players have revealed their favourite basketball movies, and only one has chosen 'Space Jam'.

SLAM Magazine cornered 20 NBA stars over the course of All-Star Weekend and hit them up for their favourite hoops films of all time. Only one of them — Indiana Pacers centre Roy Hibbert — chose the most authentic basketball film of all time, 'Space Jam'. (But we already knew Hibbert was legit, because he's made multiple appearances on 'Parks And Recreation'.)

Here's what they went with:

Joe Johnson — 'Blue Chips'
Victor Oladipo — 'Above The Rim'
Jared Sullinger — 'Coach Carter'
Trey Burke — 'He Got Game'
Chris Bosh — 'Hoosiers'
Roy Hibbert — 'Space Jam'
Terrence Jones — 'White Men Can't Jump'
Steven Adams — 'Coach Carter'
Pero Antic — 'Love & Basketball'
Giannis Antetokounmpo — 'Coach Carter'
Jonas Valanciunas — 'The Other Dream Team'
James Harden — 'Love & Basketball'
Mason Plumlee — 'Finding Forrester'
DeMar DeRozan — 'He Got Game'
Jimmer Fredette — 'Hoosiers'
Paul Millsap — 'Love & Basketball'
Tyson Chandler — 'He Got Game'
Tim Hardaway Jr — 'He Got Game'
Harrison Barnes — 'Glory Road'
Michael Carter-Williams — 'He Got Game'
