One of the feel-good romantic-comedy shows of the last half decade, Australian production 'Colin From Accounts' will return for a third season.
After leaving us with an oh-floor-please-swallow-me ending at the end of season two (no spoilers here, but it was a classic episode with yet another awkward moment, this time from Gordon), husband-and-wife team Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer (who play the show's main characters, Gordon and Ashley) will return to star and write the third season."We're VERY excited to bring you season three of our show," the pair says. "To be honest, with the way we ended season two it would have been weird not to make a third, so here we are. We promise we won't leave you hanging like that again. Probably."
With a swag of awards, including three Logies, the show revolves around the romantic relationship between Gordon and Ashley, who become unlikely roomies in season one before love blossoms (somewhat unexpectedly).
It's a delightful show with plenty of LOL moments alongside a few teary scenes with plenty of heart from the ensemble cast that features Helen Thomson ('Elvis), Emma Harvie ('Home & Away', 'The Letdown') and Michael Logo ('Inside').
Licensed to over 150 territories around the world, and premiering on the BBC in the UK and Paramount+ in the US to rave reviews, 'Colin From Accounts' has been a runaway success, becoming Foxtel Group's most watched original scripted series of all time.
"We couldn't pass up the opportunity for fans to see what's next for Ash and Gordon (and Colin!)," Lana Greenhalgh, Head of Scripted, Foxtel Group says. "'Colin From Accounts' has delighted fans the world over and we're proud to commission a third season of this hilarious, chaotic and relatable series that has stolen our hearts.
Co-produced by Easy Tiger Productions and CBS Studios, season one and two are available to stream on Binge, available on Hubbl, and On Demand on Foxtel.
"We're so thrilled that our friends at Binge, CBS Studios, and our many international partners have made another season of Colin possible. Then again, did anyone really have a choice after that season two ending," shares Rob Gibson and Ian Collie, from Easy Tiger.
