Kaley Cuoco Is 'The Flight Attendant' – HBO Max's New Miniseries

Kelly Cuoco stars in new HBO Max miniseries 'The Flight Attendant'.
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

In HBO Max's new miniseries 'The Flight Attendant', Kaley Cuoco finds herself playing a very different character to Penny from 'The Big Bang Theory'.

Cuoco portrays Cassandra 'Cassie' Bowden, a flight attendant who hooks up with an attractive passenger (Alex, played by Michiel Husiman aka GOT's Daario Naharis) and spends a romantic evening in his company during a layover in Bangkok.

When Cassie wakes the next morning, hungover and a little disoriented, she finds Alex bloodied and very much dead in the bed they shared, and with no recollection of how he died.

Scared and unable to piece together the events of the night prior (is she the killer?), Cassie continues her day as if nothing happened, joining the other flight attendants and pilots travelling to the airport.

But when she lands in New York, FBI agents arrive to question her about her recent layover in Bangkok.

As the FBI circle ever closer and her friends and colleagues begin questioning her sanity (did we mention Cassie sees a dead Alex) Cassie is in a race against time to clear her name. "I'm a crazy, drunk flight attendant. Not a killer."

The ensemble cast features Zosia Mamet (Shoshanna from 'Girls'), Michelle Gomez ('Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina') and Colin Woodell ('The Purge').

'The Flight Attendant' is based on the 2018 novel of the same name by Chris Bohjalian.

'The Flight Attendant' is coming to Foxtel and Binge from 26 November.
