Australian actor and filmmaker, Joel Edgerton will shoot his new crime thriller, 'The Unknown Man', in South Australia.
"This is a challenging time for our industry," 'The Unknown Man' producer Rachel Gardner says, "particularly for crew, but we are gearing up to move straight into production on 'The Unknown Man', which will be shooting in and around Adelaide, as soon as is practicable."
Production dates for 'The Unknown Man' will be determined at a future time, pending the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. The project has major production investment from Screen Australia with support from the South Australian Film Corporation.
'The Unknown Man' is a crime thriller – from production companies See-Saw Films ('Lion', 'The King's Speech') and Anonymous Content ('Boy Erased', 'Spotlight') – centred on two strangers, Henry and Mark, who meet and strike up a friendship.
What Henry doesn't know is Mark is a seasoned undercover officer working to convict Henry for an unsolved murder committed years earlier.
