After the first season's wacky adventures with vampires Nandor, Laszlo and Nadja, as well as Nandor's familiar Guillermo and fellow housemate, the sly, cunning energy vampire Colin, 'What We Do In The Shadows' sophomore season looks even riper for the sucking.
With the five main characters all living in an ageing mansion in Staten Island, the series revolves around the vampires adapting (horribly, but with plenty of laughs) to the modern world, while coping with all the stresses and strains of surviving a sharehouse. The season one cliffhanger found Guillermo unearthing information that he is in fact the descendant of famed vampire killer Van Helsing. This thread continues with the emergence of the Mosquito Collectors of the Tri-State Area, a secret team of amateur vampire hunters lead by Claude (Craig Robinson).
Other well-known names joining the main cast (Matt Berry, Kayvan Novak, Natasia Demetriou, Harvey Guillen and Mark Proksch) this season include 'Stars Wars' legend Mark Hamill as a vampire called Jim as well as Hayley Joel Osment ('The Sixth Sense', 'Futureman') as Laszlo and Nadja's new familiar.
While English actor Lucy Punch ('Hot Fuzz', 'A Series Of Unfortunate Events') plays a witch and rival to Nadja.
'What We Do In The Shadows' S2 is available to watch or stream on Foxtel's Fox Showcase.
