The sequel to beloved Pixar film 'Finding Nemo', 'Finding Dory' follows forgetful blue tang, Dory, on a journey to (hopefully) remember and find her parents.
A new trailer dropped at the weekend which shows two women who turn around to find an octopus in their stroller instead of a child.
One viewer suggested the women look like a couple, which lit up social media. Disney Pixar are yet to comment, but the twittersphere is already celebrating:

There have been subtly gay characters and LGBTI subtext in previous Disney films – 'Frozen' and 'Zootopia' – but this may be the first ever lesbian couple. Though the two female characters may not play a major role in the film’s plot, including LGBT families within the film as a norm is a giant step for the animation giant.
