Could one of the year's most entertaining movies inspire sweeping changes to America's legal system? No. No, it definitely couldn't. But this is still pretty fun.
We, The People is an online portal created by the White House to help Americans petition their government. As you can imagine, it's a great idea that was always going to be corrupted utilised to its greatest potential by petitions like this one, which suggests that America abandon its current legal system in favor of something a little more extreme.
If you've been to the movies lately (or you're a British comics aficionado), this proposed system might sound familiar.

At the time of writing, the petition only has 88 signatures, and needs 25,000 by December 13 to be considered for an official response from The White House. Don't let the law down, citizens.
In a surprising development, Russell Crowe and the producers of Les Miserables have already released a poster to show their support for the petition.
