'Breaking Bad' creator Vince Gilligan will make his first Australian appearance at the Sydney Writers Festival in May.
'Breaking Bad' was hailed as "the best of the 21st century" by Stephen King and just about everybody else with access to a television, computer or tablet. As well as creating the show, which won numerous Golden Globes and Emmy Awards and probably should have won even more, Vince wrote and directed many of the its key episodes.
Vince is currently working on 'Better Call Saul', a 'Breaking Bad' spin-off starring criminal lawyer Saul Goodman; he's also signed off on 'Metástasis', the upcoming Columbian version of 'Breaking Bad'. Their take on Saul Goodman looks like this, because sure, why not?
Vince Gilligan will be interviewed by Adam Spencer at Sydney Town Hall on Thursday May 1. If you're planning on doing something else that day, keep in mind that sitting around, smoking marijuana, eating Cheetos and masturbating do not constitute 'plans'.
