Flickerfest returns to the Gold Coast in January for its 23rd year.
After a number of sell-out screenings at last year's event, the short film festival moves to The Arts Centre for a programme that celebrates Australian and world cinema.
A record 2,300 short film entries were received for Flickerfest 2013, with the top 100 being selected for screening at the festival. Audiences have the chance to see premieres of the best in international and Australian short film in what Flickerfest organisers hope represents "the most innovative, creative and cutting edge short films being produced in the world today."
As Australia's only Academy accredited and BAFTA recognised short film festival, Flickerfest is recognised as one of the world's most comprehensive short film festivals.
Flickerfest is on Friday January 31 2013 at The Arts Centre, Gold Coast.
