Australia's only Academy accredited and BAFTA recognised short film comp — and Sydney's first outdoor beachside cinema — will screen at Bondi Pavilion from January 10-19.
Filmmakers can now enter works into the International, Australian and Documentary categories, as well as GreenFlicks (films with an environmental focus or theme) and FlickerUp (the category aimed at school students). As per usual, all categories will be judged by a panel of industry experts.
All comps are open to any short film under 30 minutes completed within two years of the entry closing dates. A host of awards and industry prizes, valued at over $50,000 AUD, are up for grabs.
Balmy nights, summer breezes and a hotly contested competition will set the stage for what are being billed as the most innovative, provocative and entertaining shorts in the industry. For more info, head to flickerfest.com.au.
