From Luca Guadagnino, the director of 'Call Me By Your Name', 'We Are Who We Are' follows a group of teens growing up on an American army base outside of Venice, Italy, struggling to find their own identities.
The limited series focuses on a couple of 14-year-olds: Fraser Wilson (Jack Dylan Grazer: 'It', 'Shazam!') and Caitlin Harper (Jordan Kristine Seamon).
Fraser is shy and introverted, who moves from New York to a military base in Veneto with his mothers. Caitlin is bold and confident, and has lived with her family on the base for several years and speaks Italian.
Chloe Sevigny ('Kids', 'Broken Flowers') and Alice Braga ('I Am Legend', 'Queen Of The South') portray Fraser's mothers, while Kid Cudi plays Richard Harper, Caitlin's father.
The series explores friendship, first love, identity, and immerses the audience in all the messy exhilaration and anguish of being a teenager.
The eight-part series is expected to premiere in September-October 2020.
