Ridley Scott's sci-fi saga series, 'Raised By Wolves' returns with its second season landing next month.
Focused on two androids who raise a group of human children on a desolate planet (Kepler-22b) at the edge of universe, many years after Earth is destroyed by a great war, the new season finds the protagonists exploring another part of the virgin plant that is more inhabitable.
Yet, the quest for survival continues to be a daily struggle as the burgeoning colony of humans threatens to be torn apart by religious differences.
Travis Fimmel ('Vikings') reprises his role as Marcus/Caleb, an atheist soldier who gains power of the new colony believing himself to be a prophet and is intent on converting the human children to his beliefs.
Amanda Collin is back as Mother, a powerful war android known as a necromancer, reprogrammed to raise human children with a service android called Father (Abubakar Salim) who loyally protects and supports the colony's children.
Other cast returning for season two include Winta McGrath as Campion (the oldest surviving human child) and Niamh Algar as Sue/Mary (Marcus/Caleb's partner), as well as Jordan Loughran, Matias Varela, Felix Jamieson, Ethan Hazzard, Aasiya Shah and Ivy Wong.
The new additions to the cast include Peter Chrisofferson James Harkness, Selina Jones and Morgan Santo.
'Raised By Wolves' S2 premieres on Foxtel from 3 February.
