Welcome to the Hotel Portofino – a very English hotel located on the Italian Riviera.

Be ready to indulge in the extravagant and sophisticated Roaring Twenties in the glamorous new six-part series 'Hotel Portofino', which features Natascha McElhone ('Californication') as Bella Ainsworth.

The daughter of a wealthy industrialist, Bella moves to Italy to set up a quintessentially British hotel in the breathtakingly beautiful seaside town of Portofino.

Set against the rise of Benito Mussolini's brand of fascism, 'Hotel Portofino' presents a lavish depiction of the 1920s under the Italian sun that embraces themes of sexual and social liberation.

With hotel guests ranging from high society, aristocrats, gentry and the upper middle class, 'Hotel Portofino' is brimming with romantic innuendo, societal intrigue and enough mystery to leave Miss Marple in a tizz.

Mark Umbers ('Home Fires') plays Bella's charming but dangerous aristocratic husband, Cecil. While Anna Chancellor (Duckface from 'Four Weddings And A Funeral') portrays the Hotel's most influential but demanding and finicky guest, Lady Latchmere.

Australian newcomer Claude Scott-Mitchell ('The Dry') also features as Rose Drummond-Ward, a newly arrived guest.

Filmed on location in Portofino, Italy, and along the Croatian coastline, 'Hotel Portofino' premieres on Foxtel from 8 February.
