I hope nobody else was planning to win an Oscar next year.
Hollywood Reporter claims that Fox has bought the rights to 'Diplomats', a buddy comedy based on NBA legend Dennis Rodman's trip to North Korea to visit totalitarian dictactor and all-round nice guy Kim Jong Un.
'Ride Along' director Tim Story has been entrusted with turning Rodman's "hoops diplomacy" into a bankable comedy, which almost certainly means that Kevin Hart will be cast in there somewhere.
No word yet on whether Rodman or Kim will play themselves in the film, or on how this affects the upcoming North Korean buddy comedy starring Seth Rogen and James Franco that Rogen told us about last year.
