If you're in need of a new series to binge watch, and don't mind a little blood and gore, you'd do well to take a look at the Hulu series 'Reprisal', a hyper-noir story following a relentless femme fatale intent on revenge. She's coming to collect.
The show focuses on Katherine Harlow, who years after being left for dead by her brother and his gang the Banished Brawlers, re-emerges as Doris Quinn many miles away in a new, quaint life in Detroit.
But Doris soon begins to plot her revenge against her brother and his bombastic gang of gearheads. 'Reprisal' follows her journey of vengeance.
Abigail Spencer, who plays the role of Katherine and Doris, is best known as Lucy Preston, a history professor who time travels on 'Timeless'. She also starred on 'Rectify' and had recurring roles in 'Suits', 'Mad Men' and 'True Detective'.
The rest of the cast is fleshed out by veteran Brazilian actor Rodrigo Santoro, who portrayed Westworld's Hector Escaton; Egyptian-Canadian actor Mena Massoud, best known for starring as Aladdin in Disney's 2019 live-action adaption; American actor David Dastmalchian ('Ant-Man', 'MacGyver', 'The Flash'); Australian actor Rhys Wakefield (Lucas Holden on 'Home & Away'); and American actor Madison Davenport ('Sharp Objects', 'From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series').
'The Handmaid's Tale' producer Warren Littlefield is one of the show's executive producers, alongside Barry Jossen and Josh Corbin.
