Whether you call him Wolverine or know him as The Boy From Oz, Hugh Jackman is a box office star.
And his latest offering, feature-length film 'Bad Education' (that also features Ray Romano and Allison Janney), showcases a different side to the Hollywood actor with Variety labelling his leading role of a shady school administrator 'the best work of his career'.
Inspired by an incredible true story, the HBO film centres around Frank Tassone (played by Jackman), a charismatic superintendent working at a respected Long Island school in 2002, but neck-deep in an embezzlement scheme (the biggest school fraud case in US history).

Serving alongside Frank is his hardworking assistant, superintendent Pamela Gluckin (Janney). Together they are on the verge of the nation's top spot as they reign over the Long Island school district.
This spurs record college admissions and soaring property values. They also collude to pull off an extraordinary embezzlement crime, while maintaining order and secrecy – by whatever means necessary. As Pamela states: "Frank is going to fix this."
'Bad Education' also co-stars Ray Romano as school board president Bob Spicer, and Geraldine Viswanathan as high school student Rachel Bhargava.
