Ray Shoesmith will return to the small screen for a third season, Foxtel confirming the critically acclaimed Australian series 'Mr Inbetween', about a volatile hitman with a clear code of ethics, will continue on Fox Showcase in 2021.
Created, written by and starring Scott Ryan as the criminal-for-hire Ray, a role that earned him an AACTA Award for Best Lead Actor in a TV Drama and a TV WEEK Logie Award for Most Outstanding Actor in 2019, 'Mr Inbetween' is one of the finest local productions in many years.
Ray "takes care of people" — whether that is collecting debts, relieving them of drugs and guns, or often taking care of them on a more permanent basis. Ray demands respect and does not tolerate it when someone disregards his very clear code of ethics.
Directed by Nash Edgerton, the series' ensemble cast includes Justin Rosniak ('Packed To The Rafters', 'Police Rescue') as Ray's best mate, Damon Herriman ('Justified', 'Secret City' and Charles Manson in 'Once Upon A Time In Hollywood') as Ray's boss, and Chika Yasumura as Brittany, Ray's inquisitive daughter with a love for unicorns (she is the real star of the show).
Seasons one and two of 'Mr Inbetween' are available to stream on demand via Foxtel.
