'Girls' star Adam Driver will (probably) play the villain in 'Star Wars: Episode VII'.
JJ Abrams' 'Star Wars' revival is expected to start filming shortly, and Variety seems pretty, pretty confident that Driver will be exploring his Dark Side in the film. His character is supposedly 'in the vein of Darth Vader', which could mean a lot of things — he might get to wear a cool mask and cape, he might be a heavy breather, he might just be a deadbeat dad; it's all up in the air at this point.
Variety notes that Driver has not officially signed on yet, but that he's close to a deal. Presumably the studio's waiting to see if they can convince Lena Dunham to play Han and Leia's daughter before they commit to anything.
In his last film, 'Inside Llewyn Davis', Driver pleaded not to be sent into outer space, but it looks like it's going to happen anyway.

Sadly, it appears Driver has missed his true 'Star Wars' calling.
