Magic America is a psychedelic-rock band consisting of four friends, some of which are brothers.
Taking their name from Blur’s ‘Magic America’ song, and with one hand in the Spacemen 3 bucket and the other in that '90s Brian Jonestown Massacre sound, Magic America stir like mad and come out with their own brand of modern, psychedelic rock.
With their debut EP ready for release later this year, Magic America's Andrew has plenty of spare time to kill. Which would explain his Top 5 list. “Adam Sandler has been responsible for some of the most memorable moments in my childhood.
“'Happy Gilmore' and 'Billy Madison' are etched in my memory as some of the best movies ever made. This list tries to pinpoint the times you realised that Adam Sandler is no longer the comedy genius he once was, and is now in fact, bat-shit crazy. So here they are.”
1. When he decided to play both himself and his sister in 'Jack & Jill'. I'm not sure what is more ridiculous; that this film was made, or that it made $79million at the Box Office (more than 'Happy Gilmore').

2. When the New York Times issued a warning about his movie 'Blended', starring Drew Barrymore, advising: 'it will make your children stupid'.
3. When you saw the trailer for 'That's My Boy' thinking it was a joke, and then realised it was in fact an actual movie.
4. When Jon Lovitz predicted Sandler's eventual insanity in 'The Wedding Singer'.

5. When you first watched the salon scene from 'Don't Mess With The Zohan'.
