5 Reasons To Head To Flickerfest In 2017

Flickerfest
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Flickerfest began as a small festival at Balmain High School in 1991, and has grown into a huge celebration of film.

Entries flow in from filmmakers across the globe, and the event is even considered in international circles to be the leading Australian competitive short film festival.

The 26th Flickerfest is on from January 2017. Festival Director Bronwyn Kidd lists five reasons to go to the event.

One

Flickerfest screens the crème of the crop, representing a world class selection of short films, and is the only Academy-accredited and BAFTA-recognised competitive International Short Film Festival. So you know they've got some serious cred.
