After the release of their first single, 'Chasing Wolves', and performance at Red Deer Music & Arts Festival, these four Brisbane lads will next perform as part of City Sounds free series of live music.
But before then, Sundown Jury must share their love of Leonardo Dicaprio's acting chops... does an Oscar await Leo? Sundown Jury certainly thing so. “In the world of Hollywood there is no greater accolade for a performance on the big screen than an Oscar award for Best Actor/ Actress.
“After losing four Best Actor nominations Leonardo DiCaprio might just be the best actor not to win an Oscar. So we thought we would list some reasons he deserves an Oscar for his performance off screen.”
1. He rocks the modern day ‘dad-bod'
In an image-conscious society, blokes have never felt more relaxed with the knowledge that somewhere in the world is DiCaprio, rocking the dad-bod. Here at Sundown Jury, we can all feel a little less guilty about knocking the lid off a cold one pre-gig. Here’s cheers to Di-Cappy!
2. He ain’t no Belieber!
Anyone who repeatedly brushes-off Justin Bieber in public deserves an Oscar. Enough said.
3. Environmental Philanthropist
Who doesn’t enjoy the great outdoors? Well known for his active contribution to the environment, Leo’s latest effort to protect planet earth is building an eco-friendly luxurious resort in Belize. This may just be his biggest role to date… I wonder if he needs a house band?
4. Kelly Rohrbach
As the saying goes, behind every Oscar winner is Kelly Rohrbach. That’s not really how it goes, but at least it should for Leo who recently dropped the knee to this stunner. Strooth! Get around him!
5. Who said top-knot
With the vast amount of top-knotted hipsters getting around these days, it’s no surprise that Leo was a man of the people, and has sported the hair trend himself. Onya Leo!
