'Dirty Dancing' returns for their tenth anniversary Australian tour and will be coming to Adelaide for a limited season.

'Dirty Dancing' tells the classic story of 17-year-old Baby Houseman and dance instructor Johnny Castle who come together and face a challenging run of on and off-stage consequences.

Born and bred in Townsville, Kurt Phelan, plays the role of charismatic dance teacher, Johnny Castle. Here are Kurt's Top 5 classic moments from the film:

The final dance scene

Who doesn't love this one! It's got the lift, the walk down, the solo, that song and, of course... The Line! "Nobody puts baby in a corner."

Water lift

This is a favourite of mine mostly because of how fun it is to do in the show.

When Johnny teaches Baby her first moves

It's the first time we see 'dirty dancing' at Kellermans and it is so alive and the choreography is ace. Then there's watermelon for all.

Lover boy scene

This is just pure fun. Look at them and you can feel it. That's what it's like for Kirby (who plays Baby) and I every night as well.

Mambo scene

This is the first time you see Johnny and Penny dance and it's just a great routine. What a wow factor.
