The restless yet calculated mind behind the ‘If The City Had A Voice’ mixtape series, Purpose defied the odds in 2013 by landing on the ARIA album charts for his debut ‘Where It Starts’: all without a record deal.
With a chest full of medals (from hip hop competitions) and a hard-drive full of exciting new music, he is looking forward to his biggest year yet in 2016, which will see the release his second album, 'Make Yourself At Home'.

Purpose
1. 'Captain Planet'
Think Superman with green hair. "By your powers combined… I am Captain Planet!"2. 'Toxie The Toxic Crusader'
I had a feature length of this on VHS tape. It's another guy who's against pollution haha. His intro music is also super lethal.{youtube}r4WPqOzpSg0{/youtube}
3. 'Banana Man'
I saw an episode once where he broke out of jail by digging a tunnel using a banana. If you are not sold on that I don't know what to tell you.{youtube}pK6aVsps10I{/youtube}
4. 'Biker Mice From Mars'
What's more exciting than bikers and mice? Biker Mice. These dudes were badass, my cousin had the figurines, Throttle was the best.{youtube}UdSDuJu04xU{/youtube}
5. 'Rocko's Modern Life'
This was a funny one. I heard if you watch this as an adult it's pretty trippy stuff.Purpose plays the next instalment of Slug Life at the Slug 'N' Lettuce, Adelaide, 29 April.
