Top 5 If Famous Australians Were Food

This Friday, 26th September, the Woolly Mammoth in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, hosts its official opening party.

The venue’s staff have pooled their resources to list the five famous Australians that remind them of Australian food icons.

Bubble O’Bill: Ken Done

Obvious choice if you’re familiar with Ken’s colour palette and moustache.

Maggi two-minute noodles: Kylie Minogue

Staple diet and national dish of Aussie students since the ‘80s. It’s all in the hair.

Vegemite sandwich: Iggy Azalea

Self-explanatory and you might not want it in your lunchbox everyday.

Fairy bread: Dame Edna

Believe or not, this is an Aussie-made invention. Edna is bright and colourful, just like her food counterpart.

Meat pie and tomato sauce: Nick Cave

Likened to Nick’s classic ninth studio album, 'Murder Ballads’.

The Woolly Mammoth official opening party takes place on Friday 26th September... you can expect 30+ craft beers, a fully functional, late-night kitchen, giant Jenga, Bocce and more plus Potbelleez DJs, The Gatling Gun and Cheap Fakes.

Pop in this weekend... you'd be a caveman not to.
