The third annual Kitsch In The Swich Prom King & Queen Pageant is almost here, and bombshell Betties, pin-up babes and rockabilly hotties are already signing up to take part in the event.
With 11 categories, including a brand new Steampunk category, it’s your chance to strut your stuff just like the pin-up babes of old. Channel your inner Marilyn, Dita or Bettie (Grable or Page – your choice), or recreate your own smokin’ Vargas girl look.
And did we mention that there are some high-stakes prizes up for grabs? There’s an official Kitsch In The Swich sash, sparkly crown, fully-styled vintage photo shoot and the title of Mr & Miss Kitsch. The Prom King & Queen Pageant winners also star as the face of the next Kitsch In The Swich campaign, with their images on everything Kitsch – from posters to media ads to collectable paper dolls.
The Prom King & Queen Pageant is open to all age groups, with the youngest category winner in 2014 – Little Miss Swich – just 4 years old and owning the runway!
In 2015, the Kitsch In The Swich Prom King & Queen Pageant will be coordinated by the fabulous Miss Cassandra Booth at Cassandra’s Closet with a pre-pageant workshop for any pageant newbies, or for anyone wanting a little expert advice on their pageant walk.
