Mark Holden got a bit freaky on Dancing With Stars last night. Actually a lot freaky.
Following his performance dressed as a clown with Jessica Prince, Holden proceeded to get nasty and scary with each of the panelists. Judge Kym Johnson was visibly weirded out — both by clowns (coulrophobia: fear of clowns) and Holden's persona.
As the train wreck became apparent, compere Daniel MacPherson tried to move things along briskly by moving from one judge to the next. But each stop only heightened tensions.
The 60-year-old appeared on the Kyle and Jackie O Show on Kiis FM this morning (where else?) to defend himself, saying he had been “possessed by a clown. I was possessed by a clown. I’ll never watch it back. Any offence that the clown caused, I wish to apologise for on his behalf.” Holden said.
