While this year’s Golden Globes will be remembered for Tina Fey and Amy Poehler’s Bill Cosby joke or Benedict Cumberbatch’s Meryl Streep photobomb, ‘Girls’ star Lena Dunham was doing her part for the #FreeTheNipple campaign.
The winner of two previous Golden Globe awards for ‘Girls’ made a cameo on Jennifer Konner’s (‘Girls’ executive producer) Instagram page with her bare chest covered only by nipple pasties.
Later on in the evening, when a few more beverages had no doubt been consumed, the nipple pasties returned, this time stuck to Lena’s cheeks. Entertaining.
The night was full of surprises for Lena, with E! News confusing her for Liza Minnelli.
The fourth season of ‘Girls’ returned earlier this week; it screens weekly on Mondays on Foxtel’s Showcase.
