Summer has definitely hit and there’s a new space to make the most of Brisbane’s warm days and nights – eating, drinking and catching up with mates under the stars at The Triffid Beer Garden.
The Beer Garden is open every Tuesday to Sunday and free to enter, even when there is a band playing in the live space. Now, The Triffid has announced one of Australia’s most celebrated chefs, Philip Johnson of e’cco bistro fame, has taken over the kitchen!
The Howzat Burger by Philip Johnson will be available at the Beer Garden from Tuesday to Sunday for lunch and dinner. Philip’s menu will also include delicious beef, chicken and vegie burgers with homemade sauces, fries and onion rings. Plus there’ll be a special addition to the menu, exclusive to the venue, The Triffid Burger. They’ll also be mixing up Philip’s deadly Nutella milkshakes and there will be gluten-free options available too.
Each and every Sunday from 2-7pm Triffid Roots, presented by Sarah Howells (Roots ‘N All), takes over the Beer Garden to bring you the best of Brisbane and Australia’s roots musicians…and it’s all totally free.
Just take a look at what Sarah has coming up over the next month:
