Despite a very public breakdown, Gabi Grecko says she is still looking forward to her “happily ever after”.
And she’s hoping to one day wed controversial Australian businessman Geoffrey Edelsten in the international city of love, Paris. “I see myself getting married, under the Eiffel Tower, to Geoff and living happily ever after,” she said in a sexy cover feature in the August issue of men’s magazine, Maxim, in stores on Thursday. “We both have different schedules and our own goals during each day but we spend as much time as possible together. It’s fun sharing personal triumphs with one another — we both make one another very proud. We are a perfect match. Nothing is forced and it just feels right and I miss him terribly when he’s gone too long.”
Grecko, 25, was hospitalised at Melbourne’s St Vincent’s Private on Friday after allegedly discovering Edelsten had been emailing and texting former girlfriend Shirley Moore. She is understood to have battled depression for several years. The couple was scheduled to visit Sydney at the weekend but stayed in Melbourne to sort their issues.

She added that it hurt when people questioned their relationship. “This breaks my heart, but we have nothing to prove. Openminded people will understand just how much we care about one another. I have faith in people.”
Edelsten, 71, recently split from wife, Brynne, 31, after more than four years marriage.
