Industry specialists Extreme Skates are opening store #2 in Ipswich Mall, after operating in Taringa for 12 years.
The store employs two local boys, Eli Campbell and Joshua Mackie, avid skaters themselves who are well trained to handle their products.
Stocking a wide variety of boards, skates, rollerblades and scooters, the outlet also carries all the household names in skating fashion and footwear, including Nike, Vans, Spitfire, DC, and many more. The store is well equipped with safety gear and padding to bubble-wrap your baby (be they fully-grown or not).
The brand was founded by Franca Baseby in 2003, after she realised that there weren't many stores around to cater to her three skating-mad sons' favourite pastime. The move into a new Ipswich store is sure to promote the local economy.
