Located in the heart of Brisbane's suburbs, Camp Hill, Espial is the brain child of Brisbane business woman Heidi McLeod.
Stocking an eclectic collection of gifts, interior décor, accessories, art and clothing, Espial has something for all lovers of unique and beautiful home wares and fashion.
Heidi regularly hand picks the stores stock, searching high and low in local market places and the obscure end of the internet to find interesting, unique and beautiful fashions and wares to add to the store's shelves.
“I’m constantly scouring handmade markets or scrolling through my Instagram feed for beautiful trinkets and if I see something I like, I’ll make it my business to find out who the designer is and stock it for my customers,” says Heidi.
Espial also specialises in stocking wares from as many local designers as possible, with Heidi explaining that it's important to support the numerous creative designers in the Brisbane area. “We’ve got clever creatives right here in our own backyard so we try to stock and support as many local designers as we can."
Some of Heidi's favourite products from this season include ethically hand-made pillows from India, Gaimo boots sourced from Spain, Tolani silk tunics, Cat Hammill jewellery, cushions from The Brown Trading Co., artwork by Jai Vasicek and necklaces from Australian label 'Dallas + Carlos’.Gorgeous new products are arriving in store all the time, keeping even the fussiest of buyer's interested with new and interesting trinkets and treasures.
Perhaps most importantly, Espial's fashion products have been carefully selected so that they can be worn everyday. Heidi says there is simply no point in having something beautiful tucked away in a wardrobe when it can be worn proudly and loudly every day of the year.
“Each treasure a customer walks away with should be worn everyday and always be on display – not to sit in a cupboard waiting to be brought out for the perfect occasion that might never come,” Heidi says.Located at Samuel Village Shopping Centre in Camp Hill, Espial's collections are also available online.
