Everybody's favourite political journalist/ baking aficionado Annabel Crabb will MC Cafe Sydney's Melbourne Cup event.
Focusing her attention on fashion, food and, y'know, racing, her witty commentary is sure to liven up a day that could use a little livening up.
Growing up in a family of thoroughbred horse breeders, Annabel will come equipped with helpful hints for the national horse racing spectacle. She'll team with Cafe Sydney's Restaurant Manager Tod Cummins to judge the swankiest stallion, the most flamboyant filly, the best stilettos and more.
Cafe Sydney operations manager Jan McKenzie says she's thrilled to have Annabel on board for the event. “She is quick wiited, sassy and smart, together with being knowledgeable about food and fashion, which is what our Melbourne Cup Day is all about. It certainly helps that she has a thoroughbred background as well!”
With rooftop views of the harbour, a cocktail lounge and race fever, Cafe Sydney is officially ramping it up for the Melbourne Cup.
