After a great response to the Vinyl Fair last year and its connection to the Queensland Museum exhibition Collectomania, the event returns in 2014.
With 100,000 lps on sale for one day only, there are sure to be opportunities to find rare, ridiculous and rad pieces from all over the world. Records will range from the 1960's 'til present day, covering all genres of music from soul, jazz and rock to metal, hip hop and punk.
Many of the sellers are private collectors parting with their treasures — others are dealers from as far as Sydney, Tamworth and Byron Bay.
The Queensland Museum estimated nearly 4,000 people attended last year's fair. This year's festivities will include live music from The Wet Fish, guest speakers, djs, food and of course records... and more records.
