Zarraffa's Coffee Opens In WA

Zarraffa's Coffee Opens In WA
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

The Zarraffa's empire expanded into Western Australia today.

After purchasing the One For The Road coffee chain sites earlier this year, the Australian-owned and operated Zarraffa's Coffee will commence operations in WA today.

The staged rollout of the five drive-through stores (four located in suburban Perth and one in Kalgoorlie) over the next month kicks off with the opening of the Coffee Canning Vale store, located on the corner of Ranford and Campbell Roads, Canning Vale.

Zarraffa's CEO Kenton Campbell has been spending a lot of time in WA with his new baristas, all of whom were offered ongoing employment in the transition from One For The Road, and is excited to introduce his blends to the West.

"Our entire operation is excited to finally see the Zarraffa's giraffe 'land' in Western Australia," Campbell said. "Our brand is well recognised in Queensland and northern NSW with 55 stores currently operating traditional and drive thru store sites, and opening in the West is the culmination of a total team effort."

Campbell is keen to assure One For The Road customers that they'll feel at home at Zarraffa's, but is expecting to face some opposition.

"I understand there will be some reluctance to change from what One For The Road customers have come to expect from each location. Our teams have been excited by the new menu offering throughout their training and we hope our customers will be too."
