With the future of the Boundary Street markets having been more than clouded, the West End staple will go ahead after securing a new location.
The Absoe site redevelopment in West End, Brisbane, has made the current location redundant, with the final Boundary Street markets staged at the site this past weekend.
The Boundary Hotel and Rumpus Room have combined to co-host the Boundary Street markets (and The Motor Room), with a launch party taking place 29 April. Bankrupt Billionaires and 2Dogs (Resin Dogs) will headline a massive night of entertainment.

"I am excited to join this project: to ensure West End remains the fun, colourful, positive and inclusive suburb we know and love," says Nicholas Goding, the Boundary Street markets manager.
'Local businesses and people combining to keep West End alive.' - Boundary Street Markets
"The Boundary Street markets are central to the vibrant community and thriving nightlife of West End," continues Mr Goding, who is also a partner with West End businesses Jungle and The End.
"The atmosphere and relaxed vibe of the markets will continue to be a destination for locals and visitors alike. We have a great mix of quality food vendors and a eclectic mix of independent/ artisan retailers.
"Keep 4101 culture alive and stay tuned."
