Celebrate the festive season with a rockabilly twist at the Sydney Rock 'n' Roll And Alternative Christmas Market.
Part-market, part-music festival and part meeting place, the Christmas market will showcase over 100 stalls, a huge entertainment line-up and even rockabilly dancing beginner classes.
Featured entertainment will include Australian roots, rock & roll royalty The Detonators, plus The Morrisons, Cruisin' Deuces and The Drey Rollan Band, as well as a range of DJs including Rod Almighty and Andy Travers.
Alternative, retro and vintage clothing, jewellery, accessories, posters, cult classic DVDs, homewares, art and collectables, records, cafés, bars and international food will be sold in a wide variety of stalls. A vintage and classic car collection will also be on display.
Attendees wanting to get their groove on should head over to the Christmas edition exclusive rockabilly dancing classes. No dance partner necessary, but plenty of energy needed.
Music lovers can sift through over 50,000 LPs and 45s, including alternative, punk, metal, garage, blues, jazz, country, rockabilly, reggae, psych, hip hop and club vinyls, from bargain buys to rare gems, thanks to a huge record fair presented by Revolve Records and Relics and Egg Records.
