The first artists and DJs performing as part of the 2019 Mardi Gras Party have been announced.

Multi award-winning Aussie dance stalwarts PNAU and pop sensation Kim Petras lead the first announcement, making them the very first artists on the bill for the massive Mardi Gras Party with more Australian and international artists set to be added in coming weeks.

Flying in from LA exclusively for their Mardi Gras set, PNAU will perform with a full electronic band set-up and a guest vocalist. Their 2017 album 'Changa' included hits like 'Chameleon' and 'Go Bang' and swept up ARIAs in both 2017 and 2018.

Germany-born pop singer-songwriter Kim Petras brings dancefloor bangers like 'I Don't Want It At All' and 'Heart To Break'. Kim has collaborated with the likes of Charli XCX and SOPHIE, most recently touring with pop star Troye Sivan on his 'Bloom' Tour in the US.

The party will also include a diverse line-up of DJs from both Australia and overseas, featuring Amanda Louise, Ben Drayton, Brooke Powers, Butch le Butch, DJ Charlie Villas, DJ Hamo, The Dollar Bin Darlings, Dom De Sousa, Feisty, HipHopHoe, Kitty Glitter, Magda Bytnerowicz, Matt Jay, SVETA, Toy Armada (PH) & DJ GRIND (USA) and Victoria Anthony. The full line-up of DJs will be announced in the New Year.

With specially-themed fantasy worlds to experience including The Neon Playground, Black Palace and The Powder Puff, there are plenty more Mardi Gras surprises in store for 2019.

Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Party takes place directly after the Parade on 2 March.
