Dreaming of a spring fling? Melbourne's Spring Fling Festival has been designed with you in mind, then.
Errol Street is set to be transformed into a wonderland of stalls, dance, music, markets and much more. This year will mark the festival's 36th year of celebrating the vibrant North and West Melbourne.
Highlights will include a spring-up urban forest, a 'bling your bicycle' attraction (yes, it is exactly what it sounds like- a basket of decorations set to turn your bike from 'dull to magic bling') and the much anticipated dog show. Because, you know, who doesn't love a dog show?
The festival also gives the community the chance to show off its many talents, with a Community and Busker's stage.
The Spring Fling Festival attracted over 15,000 people last year, and promises to be even bigger and better this year. The festival takes place on October 20 and runs from 11am-6pm; festival goers are urged to take public transport.
