The Melbourne City Council’s Conversations and The Toff In Town are set to present Toff Talks. The annual council program will take the form of a humorous debate about Melbourne’s fabled north/south divide.
The free debate, titled South vs North: Which Side of the River Are You On, will look at culture, music, art, bikes, cafes and general lifestyle on the opposite sides of the Yarra. The debating panel will include writer, blogger and editor Zora Sanders (North), singer and curator Sophia Brous (North and South), writer and former Port Phillip Mayor Dick Gross (South), and comedian Dave O’Neil (North).
Humorist and writer, Catherine Deveny will lead this debate on Melbourne’s great divide. Toff Talks takes place 8pm-9pm, Monday October 29. For more information, click here.
