Those funny guys in Russia have used the closing ceremony of the Sochi Winter Olympics to make fun of themselves.

The ceremony featured hundreds of dancers choreographed to form the Olympic rings — except the fifth and final ring failed to open, just as it did two weeks ago in an infamous opening ceremony gaffe. (This time, of course, the 'failure' was deliberate — we think.)

Sadly, the closing ceremony didn't make mention of Sochi's equally infamous toilet cubicles, open manholes, unfinished hotel rooms, stray dogs, or hilarious propensity for bashing gay people in the street (which would obviously have been a comedy goldmine), but hey, it's a start, right?
