Slideapalooza Splashes Down In Brisbane This Summer

Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Grab your boardies and bikinis as well as your floaties Brisbane, with the announcement that Slideapalooza, the world's largest collection of water slides, will take over Mount Cotton's Sirromet Winery this summer for two weekends.

Slideapalooza will see Sirromet Winery transformed (13-21 January, 2018) into a sea of super-fun water slides with over 1km of single slide inflatables, a football field-long six-lane slip ’n slide, two sky-high inflatable slides, plus a number of kid-sized inflatables to round out the family-friendly event.

With tickets on sale from tomorrow (10 August), the best part is event organisers are offering tickets at just $1 per ticket to reserve a spot before the balance of the ticket is due by 11 October. “Nothing is worse than missing out on an event just because you initially can’t afford the ticket,” Slideapalooza general manager Brodie Wright says.

“PreSale allows people to book early and then save for the rest over the course of a couple months. We just really want as many people as possible to experience the awesome fun of Slideapalooza this summer.”

The event was first staged in the Hunter Valley (NSW) earlier this year.
