scenestr says hello to Adelaide from 3 June when it will publish an Adelaide print edition every month.
The format will be the same as that of the reader-friendly Brisbane edition, which has been A4 gloss throughout since the switch from newsprint tabloid in 2004.
Founding publisher, Howard Duggan, said "scenestr offers a fresh, A4, all-gloss, pop culture and entertainment read. Big on music and big on the arts".
scenestr’s roots date back to 1993 Brisbane: weekly as Scene Magazine and now every four weeks under its present scenestr moniker.
The magazine was born when Paul Keating was PM. It was there when The Prodigy picked up a guitar and scenestr grew up with rave culture, grunge, fringe theatre, Austin Powers and Big Day Out.
Today, it embraces revolution and evolution; scenestr is current, calm and collected. From DZ Deathrays to graffitied alleyways, fashion and passion, melodies to muses, naughties to forties – scenestr’s there.
scenestr already has a relationship with Adelaide through this, its national website.
