A little slice of enlightened spirit and peace, Pranafest returns for its sixth year running next month to the blessed grounds of Woodfordia on the Sunshine Coast.

Attendees will be enticed by dazzling line-up of live music from Tiki Taane, Bobby Alu and Raw Ordio just to name a few.

The 2026 event also features workshops, sound healings and talks from renowned speakers Bruce Lipton and Zach Bush.

Pranafest 2026 (5-7 June) is an event to inspire, console and ignite all inner sparks within the community.

'Event Superwoman' Narelle Walsh (partnerships, media & marketing manager) generously takes the time to answer our budding questions surrounding the event and tell us what Pranafest is all about.

How would you best describe Pranafest to people who have never heard of it?
Pranafest is best described as a three-day immersive gathering where music, wellness and conscious community come together in a really genuine way. It's not just a festival you attend, it's something you experience.

At its core, it was born from a simple idea: to create a space where people could connect more deeply – to themselves, to each other, and to the world around them.

What started as a seed of inspiration nearly a decade ago has grown into a vibrant, multi-layered event that brings together world-class facilitators, musicians, healers and creatives, all in one place.

It's equal parts celebration and self-exploration—grounded, welcoming, and deeply human.

Defined as a festival dedicated to 'well-being, conscious living and meaningful human connection' what can attendees expect at Pranafest that fulfils these words?
Those words really guide every decision we make.

'Well-being' shows up through an incredibly diverse range of workshops and experiences – from yoga, breathwork and meditation, to alternative healing modalities and educational talks that people can actually integrate into their daily lives.

'Conscious living' is reflected in the way the festival is designed – from the facilitators we bring in, to our partnerships, to the way we honour the land and encourage more mindful, sustainable ways of being.

'Meaningful human connection' is something you feel the moment you arrive. There's a real openness at Pranafest, people come with a willingness to connect, share and be present. It creates an environment where conversations go deeper, and connections tend to last well beyond the weekend.

Staged at Woodfordia, how does the ethos of Woodfordia Inc & Pranafest intertwine to benefit the community attending?
The alignment with Woodfordia Inc has felt like a natural coming together.

With existing ties through our team and a shared commitment to community, culture, sustainability and honouring the land, it's a partnership that feels genuinely aligned on every level.

Woodfordia isn't just a venue, it's a living, breathing example of what intentional community creation can look like. Being able to host Pranafest there allows us to expand the experience in a way that feels both grounded and expansive.

For attendees, it means they're stepping into a space that already holds a strong sense of care, history and connection, which really amplifies everything we're trying to create as a festival.

What is it about Pranafest that sets itself apart from other well-being events?
I think what sets Pranafest apart is the balance between depth and accessibility.

There are many incredible well-being events out there, but Pranafest has a unique ability to be both deeply transformative and genuinely welcoming. You don't need prior experience, you can arrive exactly as you are.

There's also a strong emphasis on integration. It's not just about having a powerful moment in a workshop, it's about giving people tools, insights and connections they can take back into their everyday lives; and importantly, it still holds the feeling of a festival. There's music, creativity, joy and celebration woven through the entire experience.

Returning for its sixth year, what can attendees expect to be different from previous years?
This year feels like a real evolution. With the move to Woodfordia and the festival's continued growth, we've been able to refine the experience.

We've created immersive spaces, more intentional programming, and a stronger sense of flow across the three days. Plus our first live-streamed discussion with global thought-leaders Bruce Lipton and Zach Bush, we're all very excited about this opportunity.

There's also a deeper focus on storytelling and the overall journey people have while they're there, not just attending sessions, but moving through a curated experience that unfolds across the weekend. It's less about doing more, and more about doing things with greater depth and intention.

What specific events do you expect to resonate with attendees the most?
It's always interesting, because the sessions people expect to love aren't always the ones that impact them the most.

That said, the larger group experiences – like music journeys, breathwork sessions and opening and closing ceremonies – tend to create really powerful shared moments.

At the same time, some of the smaller, more intimate workshops often become people's highlights, where they have a breakthrough, learn something new, or form a meaningful connection.

The event is marketed as a family event, what does it mean to the Pranafest organisers to have an event accessible to all ages?
It's really important to us that Pranafest feels inclusive and accessible.

Creating a family-friendly environment means we're fostering a space where people of all ages can come together, learn from each other, and share the experience. It brings a different kind of energy, one that feels more grounded, more connected, and more reflective of real community.

It also speaks to the idea that well-being and conscious living aren't just individual pursuits. They're something that can be lived and shared across generations.

Stretching across three days – what thoughts were behind the decision to have a multi-day event, opposed to one day of well-being?
Transformation takes time. A single day can be inspiring, but a multi-day experience allows people to really settle in, slow down, and open up to the process.

By the second and third day, you can feel a shift. People are more present, more connected, and more receptive. It also creates space for deeper conversations, more meaningful connections, and a more immersive journey overall.

If attendees were to take away one thing from the event this year, what should it be and why?
If there's one thing, it's a sense of connection – to themselves, to others, and to what really matters.

Life can be busy and noisy, and Pranafest offers a space to step out of that, even briefly, and remember what it feels like to be present, connected and aligned. That's something people can carry with them long after the festival ends.

What would you say to entice people to the welcoming embrace that is Pranafest?
Pranafest is a space where you don't have to be anything other than who you are.

Whether you come for the music, the workshops, the community, or simply to take a breath – you'll find something here for you.

Especially this year; there's a lot of heart being poured into creating something truly special. It's the kind of experience that stays with you.

Pranafest takes place at Woodfordia (Moreton Bay region) 5-7 June, 2026.
