Rejoice! Hurrah! Oh happy day!
Well, the day has come. You can now tweet photos without worrying about your 140-character limit going down on Twitter.
The social media site is rolling out the new, long-awaited feature today. Not only does it account for photos, but also videos, animated GIFs, polls and quoted retweets.
The change comes after a "coming soon" announcement was made by Twitter back in May this year. That's right. We've waited four months for this since it was announced. Talk about dragged out. But oh well! We're happy it's here!
What other things would you like to see Twitter do?
It's a common request that they get rid of the character limit all together, but imagine the rants on your timeline. Besides, Twitter is meant for short thoughts and expressions, so losing the character limit would truly be the end of an era.
