This coming weekend Supanova Comic Con and Gaming hits Adelaide again, 1-3 November at Adelaide Showground, and we'd like to say 'we need your support' to keep bringing our brand of fun and celebrity to Adelaide annually, as we've done since 2012.
"The reason we're saying this is that, through the years, we've seen and heard a number of events say 'we needed more support' when it's too late. After all, the Supanova team LOVE Adelaide and we'd love to keep coming back, so now it's up to you, the Adelaide public.
"If it's not meant to be, c'est la vie, but we figure it's better to let you know at a time when you can still act versus us waving goodbye after the fact with you saying, 'why didn't you tell us?'.
"From our end we feel we've done our part in presenting arguably our 'best ever' line-up of Supa-Stars in Adelaide, which includes John Travolta (Sunday), Billy Zane, Jason Isaacs, Alison Sudol (Saturday), Deborah Ann Woll and many others representing a number of genres, franchises and mediums.
"So if you'd like us to keep bringing our brand of fun to your city in the future, please support us! Spread the word! Tell all your friends! Get them to come along!
That all said, regardless of what happens next, we know we'll be delivering an awesome event this weekend and would like to take this opportunity to say 'thank you so much' to all the sponsors, media, contractors, exhibitors, artisans, fans and volunteers who've kept us hoping since 2012 that the Adelaide version of Supanova can level-up to the point of self-sufficient sustainability like the rest of its siblings around Australia.
