Decided to host a New Year’s party this year?
Great idea! But where to begin? Here’s a checklist of to-dos from Brisbane DJ Nick One, so all you have to worry about on the night is ensuring maximum fun for all.
- Finalise your guest list. No crabs.
- Check your kitchen supplies. You are gonna need endless plastic cups and unlimited ice.
- Decide on a theme. Something tropical can be fun.
- Set your budget. Check Mum's credit limit.
- Send out your invitations. You can do this via text message or email.
- Consider guests who’ll want to stay over. Chicks only!
- Guest contributions. Ask your friends to bring ciggies.
- Food and drinks. Lime. Vodka. Soda.
- Include non-perishables in your Christmas food shop. Not sure what this means.
- Plan the entertainment
- Organise the house. Clean up any broken glass etc..
- The day before. Have a bath.
Catch DJ Nick One this New Year’s Eve at 7pm at The Big Chill at The Motor Room (with the HTO Twerk Team); from 9pm till 2am at Rumpus Room (with Hostile Takeover and The HTO Twerk Team) and then from 3am till 5am at the Woolly Mammoth.
