Former Smiths frontman Morrissey has said he sees no difference between meat-eaters and paedophiles on fan site, True To You.
Answering a series of questions submitted by fans, he urged people to find a YouTube video styled 'The video the meat industry doesn't want you to see' and said that "if it didn't affect you in a moral sense, you're probably granite".
The idea isn't newfound later in life for the frontman of the group, branded by Q Magazine as "the one truly vital voice of the '80s... the most influential British guitar group of the decade". In 1985, The Smiths released their second studio album, 'Meat Is Murder'.

When asked what laws he would like enacted in relation to animal welfare, Morrissey said he would like the Queen asked why she wears an electrocuted bear cub on her head, and to ask President Obama why he says nothing on the subject.
The wide-ranging interview also covered music, fashion, his autobigraphy and a promise that as long as he's not asked about The Smiths — he has no interest in them any more — he won't slip into unconsciousness.
