Celebrity vocal coach, Richard Fink IV, is bringing his lessons in THROGA (throat-yoga) to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
The New Yorker who has mentored contestants on The Voice in America and Australia, American Idol, America's Got Talent, Australia's Got Talent and basically every other talent show that features singing is the creator of THROGA and the 7 Dimensions Of Singing. A vocal philosophy designed to help singers, speakers and educators gain strength, flexibility and balance throughout their vocal range, THROGA guidelines help students reach their full vocal potential.
"My goal as a teacher is simple; to teach my students not to need me! By providing a vocalist the knowledge on how the vocal instrument actually works and interacts with each exercise, he or she is able to reach their vocal goals by self-diagnosing during their practice and modifying the exercises accordingly."
Focusing on safe and efficient methods for warming up, maintaining, and developing the voice, Richard will address voice and vocal related questions directly in his workshops and work one-on-one with students. Open for seasoned professionals as well as beginners, a few selected workshop participants will get the chance to perform a song of their choice on stage with a live instrument, music track or a'cappella (Sydney only).
"In an effort to simplify this mysterious process, I developed THROGA (throat-yoga) and the 7 Dimensions Of Singing as a tool for singers to target any aspect of their voice with a safe and efficient practice. No matter what a singers skill level or style of music is, THROGA can help them balance their voice and give them the power to steer it in any direction they chose."
Richard Fink IV will be holding his workshops on JMC Academy's campuses in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
