Kasey Chambers Headlines Central Coast's 2017 Long Jetty Street Festival

Kasey Chambers
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Central Coast native, and darling of the country music scene, Kasey Chambers will headline the third annual Long Jetty Street Festival on 19 November.

With amazing support from the local, Central Coast community, organisers have extended the 2017 festival site adding more stalls, entertainment and services. Which means a bucketload more fun for families, music & art lovers, foodies and skaters alike.

So what’s on offer at #LJSF17? With music and culture at the very heart of the Long Jetty Street Festival, the Six String Stage will be graced by the lady with five #1 Aria album chart toppers – Kasey Chambers. "I got to enjoy the Long Jetty Street Festival last year as an audience member and I'm so happy that I get to add my name to the line-up of performers this year," Kasey says.

"I've spent a lot of this past year playing all over the world, so it feels extra special to be able to play a gig in my home area on the Central Coast with so many great artists."

The Art Precinct will again offer live art, curated by creative powerhouse Bonnie Gray and local legend Grant Molony; both will be creating unique, moveable pieces within the Art Precinct on the day.

Sydney contemporary artist Elliott 'Numskull' Routledge, whose colourful murals and works have taken him around the world, will make his mark on the Coast by providing a unique, abstract mural on Thompson Street.
