Congratulations, western civilisation — you've reached a new low.

According to TMZ (or TMI, as it should probably be known in this case), sales of Kim Kardashian's sex tape, recorded with alleged R&B star Ray J in 2003, have spiked 80 per cent since Kanye West's announcement that the reality starlet is having his baby.

Vivid Entertainment, which owns the rights to the 'film', says sales of the tape haven't seen this sharp an increase since Kim's ill fated wedding to Kris Humphries, though they have been steadily increasing every month since Kimye first (publicly) hooked up.

An incredibly awkward birds-and-the-bees conversation just got that little bit more uncomfortable.
